A Birthday and a Funeral

Whether we like it or not, we live in seasons. We understand this with the climate, but when it comes to our life, we think everything should be up and to the right. But our life goes in cycles. If we don't understand these cycles, we can become disillusioned. Understanding these 4 seasons will help you write new rules.

Dare to be Aware

Are you willing to be aware? Before you agree, are you willing to discover that maybe you're not actually good at some of those hopes and dreams you had? Maybe that dream you're chasing should have died long ago? It's scary, but become self-aware can also lead us to discover who we really are and what we've been created to be. It will be challenging, but in the end, it will be worth it.

This is America pt. 2 ft. Corey Simon

The NFL recently decided that it is against the rules to sit or kneel during the national anthem. An issue that started with 1 player kneeling because of police brutality which then led to fans protesting games because they believe players aren't showing respect to the country. What does this mean for the future of the NFL? To discuss, we brought on Corey Simon, former FSU and NFL player.

"Why do I have to agree with one side or the other? Why can't I find a third way, a middle space, that brings people together?" - @adriancrawford #newrulespodcast TWEET THIS!

Entrepreneurship v. Intrepreneurship ft. Vincent Hunt

When it comes to writing new rules, many of us feel that it's entrepreneurial or bust. But what if you're not an entrepreneur? Can you still write new rules? Can you still make a difference? It's not only the CEOs that can write new rules. No matter what you're rank in your company is, you can make a difference. Learn more from Vincent Hunt about intreprenuership on this week's episode of the new rules podcast.

Emotional Awareness

Becoming emotionally aware is not simply for those who have extra time on their hands. Becoming emotionally aware is criticial in your growth as an individual. In fact, by not becoming emotionally aware, you'll never fully be who you were created to be. To discuss, we brought Dr. Mike Zoda, Children and Family Therapist, on the podcast. Listen as we discuss this, Gambino's new music video, and more on this week's episode of the New Rules Podcast.

Ye vs. the People

We all saw it. Kanye West rockin' the MAGA hat. To top that, he dropped "Ye vs. the People" with T.I. discussing how he's trying to present new ideas. But at what cost? Has Kanye gone too far? To discuss, we brought on our friend, Pastor Seth Trimmer, to talk about the current cultural tension. This, some new albums we've been enjoying, and more on this week's episode of the New Rules Podcast.

"We all say we want to progress and move forward, but this can never happen without struggle. We have lost the ability to have dialogue and how to disagree with one another." - @adriancrawford #newrulespodcast TWEET THIS!

"We've become so lazy that we aren't willing to have real conversation. Sure, Kanye didn't deliver it the best. But he's having conversations that we need to have." - @adriancrawford #newrulespodcast TWEET THIS!

"We need to learn how to build emotional resilience in our country. Resilience allows you to fight through your emotions even if you don't agree with someone." - @adriancrawford #newrulespodcast TWEET THIS!
